CHICAGO — A 43-year-old man is injured following a shooting in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood early Monday morning, according to police.
Police said the man was walking in an alley in the 6000 block of North Fairfield Avenue just after 12:35 a.m. when he heard several shots and felt pain.
The man self-transported to Swedish Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg. He was listed in stable condition upon arrival.
There is no one in custody and the incident is under investigation.
