CHICAGO -- Change is coming to a cherished Chicago tradition when it comes to the lighting of the Christmas tree at Daley Plaza.

The late November ceremony and the tree itself are moving to Millennium Park.

Many people WGN talked to hated the decision. But many others are supporting the move to Millennium Park.

Change can be difficult.  Especially when it comes to the topic of Christmas, and the half-century tradition at Daley Plaza.

But city planners say wait until you see the tree at Millennium Park.
