It is a frigid Christmas Eve across the Chicago area and snow could be on the way for Christmas morning.

For most of the morning temperatures were in the single digits and the wind chill made it feel even colder.  Those who venture out are bundling up.

“If you live here you have to enjoy the seasons, and winter is one of the seasons,” said Dennis Minichellow, who was out today walking his dog along a partially frozen Lake Michigan.

For anyone planning to be out in the cold today, experts say be sure to bundle up, cover up any exposed skin, and try not to stay out in the elements too long.
