The Chicago Park District is helping some people with their New Years resolutions — that is if it involves hitting the gym and working on your fitness.
According to a statement by the district, 72 fitness centers will be free of charge until January 11th.
Access to classes, pool, and all equipment will be available, however the free pool access will only be offered during lap swim sessions.
The park district’s fitness centers have the state of the art equipment, including computerized treadmills, cross trainers, upright and recumbent bicycles and core-focused weight equipment.
For those that like to attend classes to help work on their fitness, aquatic aerobics, cycling, yoga, and kickboxing will all be offered.
Registration is required. More information on class schedules is available at www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/wellness.
