‘Recycled Modern’ in Lakeview is a unique home goods store, boasting an array of locally made arts and furniture, along with a wide selection of antiques.

“It’s really cool to see what you can come up with and create out of something that still exists,” founder Shari Currie said.

‘Recycled Modern’ is a lifestyle shop, with upcycled items, handcrafted and vintage furniture as well as local art.

Designer Marianna Pasaret made shelves from recycled wood and metal salvaged from an old building in Chicago, showcasing the endless possibilities seen by the store’s creators.

Custom furniture and local artwork decorates the walls of ‘Recycled Modern’, bringing the worlds of local and antique together.
