Police, bystanders rescue residents from house fire in Markham

MARKHAM, Ill. — Police and bystanders rescued people from a home after a fire broke out in south suburban Markham.

The fire started overnight Thursday in a home in the 3600 block of Sunset Avenue.

Bystanders and police worked together to get the residents of the home out.

No word yet on injuries.
