CHICAGO — With bunny ears and eggs abound, the hunt was on at Navy Pier with a brunch followed with a heaping helping of tradition.

The hunt dates back to the 1800s in Germany and was popularized in Great Britain by Queen Victoria, whose German mother introduced her to the tradition.

Since then, America has put on its own spin.

The hunt at Navy Pier is in a more intimate setting, although there is still plenty of candy around for the kids.
