Minor track fire delays CTA Blue Line

CHICAGO – Commuters traveling the CTA Blue Line should seek alternate routes or prepare for additional wait times, officials said.

As a result of a small fire at a track level near Division, CTA said trains are running with “residual delays.”

“Trains are moving and normal service is being restored,” CTA officials added.

CTA offered no timetable on when the significant delay alert will be lifted.
