CHICAGO — A man who was pulled from Lake Michigan at Oak Street Beach has been identified as a missing 21-year-old from Poland.

The medical examiner has identified the man as Krzysztof Szubert.

Police said Szubert was last seen Saturday night in the city’s River North neighborhood at “Howl at the Moon,” located at 26 West Hubbard Street.

His body was discovered just before 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Lake Shore Drive.

According to police, Szubert was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Area Three Detectives are investigating.
