CHICAGO — A little cold and rain didn’t stop people from celebrating Earth Day and help clean up Humboldt Park.
About 600 people alone in Humboldt Park and about 2,000 volunteers bundled up to help clean up the city’s parks.
The organization Friends of the Parks and Chicago’s Park District started hosting the event clean up events 34 years ago.
