CHICAGO — A Chicago law firm is suing a major e-cigarette company and an area gas station.

Romanucci and Blandin announced the suit Friday on behalf of an 18-year-old in Lake County, who suffered from vaping-related illness, including vomiting, shaking and difficulty breathing.

Adam Hergenreder said after two years of smoking JUULs, he has the lungs of a 70-year-old, and he’s suing, alleging that JUUL used deceptive marketing practices to target teens.

The lawsuit also names a gas station in waukegan for selling nicotine-based products to a minor.

JUUL is the top-selling e-cigaratte brand, owning nearly 75 percent of the market share.
