MORTON GROVE, Ill. — One car overturned in a serious crash Friday evening in Morton Grove.
The crash happened on Waukegan Road between Golf Road and Dempster Street.
Morton Grove police said the driver of one of the cars left the scene on foot but was later taken into custody.
The occupants of the other car involved were taken to Lutheran General Hospital. At least one person, a female, is in critical condition.
The Major Crash Assistance Team is assiting with the investigation.
