BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. — Buffalo Grove police named a suspect after a couple was shot and killed in their apartment complex parking garage, and that suspect is the ex-husband of one of the victims. Police said they are looking for 64-year-old Anatoliy Ermak. He may be driving a white Nissan Versa hatchback with the Florida license plate number KCFK75. He is suspected of killing both his ex-wife Nataliya Ermak, 55, and her husband Roman Frid, 69. The victims were shot and killed in the parking garage of the Cambridge on the Lake apartment complex in the 100 block of Lake Boulevard Sunday night. The medical examiner’s report issued on Tuesday said Ermak and Frid both died from multiple gunshot wounds and their deaths were ruled a homicide. Police said the shooter was caught on camera entering the garage just after the victims’ car pulled in. The shooter then escaped through a side door, and the victims were found several hours later. Police did not give a possible motive for the shooting. Anyone with information on Anatoliy Ermak’s location should contact the Buffalo Grove Police Department at (847) 459-2560, or submit an anonymous tip at (847) 662-2222.
