CHICAGO --Chicago police are searching for a man who yanked a woman off of a bicycle, exposed himself, and tried to assault her in the city’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

The attack happened in an alley near 32nd and South Wells just after midnight on Saturday.

The woman was riding through the alley behind her apartment when the suspect pulled her off the bike and exposed himself.

The suspect apparently drove off in a red or maroon sedan with a rear spoiler.

The victim told police investigators that the man was either Hispanic or Middle Eastern, with a light complexion, brown eyes, black hair and a thin beard.

Police continue to investigate.  In the meantime they’re reminding everyone in the area to be aware and on the lookout for the suspect.
