A 13-year-old boy in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana is charged with second-degree murder after police say he practiced some violent wrestling moves on his young half-sister.

The boy was left to babysit for the 5-year-old; he’s a fan of WWW wrestling.

Authorities say he practiced on the girl by slamming her onto her bed, jumping on her and repeatedly hitting her with his elbow, even after she complained that she was hurt; Viloude Louis suffered broken ribs, internal bleeding and a lacerated liver.

Police say the brother showed no remorse when they questioned him about the beating

For its part, WWE says there’s no way a brutal assault on a small child could be confused with TV wrestling; the organization says the facts of the case point instead to a lack of parental supervision.

The boy’s mother was not charged.
