CHICAGO -- Chicago police are investigating a bomb threat made at a Jewish school Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the Chicago Jewish Day School, located at 5959 N. Sheridan Rd., at about 9:10 a.m. after a call of a bomb threat was made.

Police say the area has been cleared.

The school evacuated all staff and students earlier, but they are now being allowed back in.

Sheridan Road is back open.

Officers used bomb sniffing dogs to search cars parked near the school.

Similar threats were made today at a Jewish school in New York and a Jewish community center in Wisconsin.
