CHICAGO – Chicago police are investigating after a body was found in a car recovered from Lake Michigan.

The car was discovered by some marina employees  in the water in the 31st St Harbor this afternoon.  Police aren’t sure when the car went into the water.

The identity of the man has not been released but fire officials say he’s in his late 50s.

A security guard tells WGN that the key was found in the ignition of the car but the car was in park and the driver side tires were both flat.

This is a developing story.  Check back for details.
