Glencoe Police say a body found Saturday morning along the Edens Spur ramp matches the description of a man missing from the northern suburb since mid-January.
The family Harvey Caplin, 82, told police he suffered from dementia.

Caplin was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on January 21st, when he wandered away from his home in the 800 block of Forestway Drive, near the Chicago Botanic Garden.

His wife, Anne Caplin, previously told the Tribune that she left her home that evening for a quick trip to the post office. When she returned, her husband had vanished.
Search efforts were hampered by this past winter’s heavy snowfalls.
A landscaping crew doing work Saturday in Northbrook discovered the body while doing work.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
