HAMPSHIRE, England -- Members of Osama bin Laden's family have reportedly died in a plane crash in the United Kingdom.

Several Arab media outlets are reporting that the sister, step-mother, and brother-in-law of the former al-Qaeda leader were killed when their private plane crashed into a car auction lot near Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire. The plane had been traveling from Milan, Italy.

Several witnesses report seeing it approach at an unusually high speed, miss the end of the runway, then clip a fence before crashing and exploding into flames.

The pilot of the plane was also killed. No one on the ground was injured.

Bin Laden's sister was an orphanage worker in Saudi Arabia, according to a friend's Facebook tribute to her.

The bin Laden family disowned Osama in 1994 when Saudi Arabia stripped him of his citizenship because of his militant activities. He was killed by U.S. Special Forces in Pakistan in 2011.

Bin Laden's father was also killed in a plane crash in 1967.
