BERWYN, Ill. — The owner of a club in Berwyn has agreed to remove a controversial two-way mirror in the women’s restroom.

The mirror at Cigars and Stripes gained international attention when a comedian posted video of it on YouTube. It was viewed more than 3 million times in one month.

Police investigated, but didn’t press charges because they decided no one’s privacy had been violated.

Employees said regulars were aware of the two-way mirror, and it was only used at Halloween to frighten people with an image behind the mirror.

The owner says he can see how it makes some people uncomfortable, and he’s removing it.
