Bears fans fired up the grills, grabbed a cold one and did what they do every game day, but today they have more clothes on.

On one of the coldest nights of the year, fans came out in droves to support the team as they took on the Dallas Cowboys at Soldier Field.

Windchill was -9 at kickoff.

Crowds were also there to support “Da Coach.”  Mike Ditka’s number 89 was retired at halftime.

Most people dressed appropriately,  either filling their tiny plastic NFL approved bags with extra clothes and blankets.

Some in the were under-informed, but braved the cold anyway.

The Bears lead the Cowboys at halftime, 24-14.
