A DuPage County judge on Thursday reduced the bail for three former Schaumburg police officers who are charged with running a drug ring.

Judge Blanche Hill Fawell lowered John Cichy’s bail to $250,000, Terrance O’Brien’s to $300,000, and Matthew Hudak’s to $350,000. They need to pay 10 percent of their respective totals to be released from jail. The three had been held on $750,000 bail prior to Thursday’s court hearing.

During Cicy’s appearance, his left leg was shaking and he cried at times.

Cichy and O’Brien resigned from the force on Tuesday, and Hudak stepped down last week.

A total of seven cases connected to the officers have been dismissed so far, and prosecutors expect 15 to be dropped eventually.
