San Diego Zoo's newest resident has made his debut to the world.

He's a male black rhino born just nine days ago.
Black rhinos are a critically-endangered species and there are only 5,000 left in the wild.
The male baby was born to a 15-ton black rhino born at the Safari Park at the zoo.
He weighs in at about 100 pounds.
The new arrival will tip the scales at about 3,000 pounds when he's full grown.

He is the 15th black rhino born at the Zoo and he has not yet been named.
