SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Thirty years after a newborn was found abandoned on a college campus, she’s graduating from the same school.

Jillian Sobol was left wrapped in towels in a dorm laundry room at San Francisco State University in 1984.

She became known as Baby Jane Doe. Jillian was adopted by an area couple.

They told her the story of her birth when she was 16-years-old.

Jillian didn’t tell classmates about her history with the school until a few weeks before graduation.

She has received congratulations on social media from strangers across the country.
