Chicago police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in a downtown hotel.

A man and a woman were found dead in bed together in the Sheraton Chicago Hotel Friday afternoon.

Police found two guns next to the bed, and initially thought the incident was a double-suicide.

An autopsy was conducted Saturday, and found that the man was killed first, and the woman died after shooting herself.

The couple has been identified as 56-year-old James Wright, Jr. and 46-year-old Kim Wright of Wisconsin.

The Sheraton Chicago Hotel is located at 301 E. North Water St.

A spokeswoman for the hotel was not immediately available for comment.
