KANKAKEE, Ill -- The aunt accused of helping a convicted killer break out of jail she used to work in appeared in court Monday.

Prosecutors charged Tonya Gant with one count of obstruction of justice in Kankakee.

They say she gave police false information last week, as they hunted for her nephew Kamron Taylor.

Grant also is accused of slipping him security codes before his escape.

Taylor was recaptured after two days on the run.

The aunt could still face more charges including aiding and abetting.
