Kids playing at school recess found themselves in the middle of a shooting today in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
A gunman ran through the playlot at Bass Grammar School during recess. He was waving a weapon before the gunfire broke out.
During the shooting, one man was hit and was taken to a hospital.
Police are searching for suspects.
It happened just blocks away from a tour being taken by Congressman Bobby Rush and Senator Mark Kirk in an effort to come up with a plan to fight crime.
