The legal documents released Friday in the Dennis Hastert case reveal that Hastert allegedly placed a “lazyboy” type chair in the boys locker room to have a direct view of the showers. Prosecutors say he would sit in the chair while boys showered.

Comedian Andy Richter, who is the sidekick on the Conan O’Brien Show, attended Yorkville High School in the 1980’s.

Last night he tweeted a quote from the documents and wrote “I remember this chair.  Purportedly “to keep boys from fighting.”
“I haven’t thought of it in 30 years. ”

“I don’t find it’s upsetting me now,” Richter wrote. “I’m just so struck by how easy it was to do that. Nobody questioned it.”
