‘America’s Next Top Model’ alum dead in apparent triple-homicide: reports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model” was reportedly one of three people found dead in an apparent triple homicide Wednesday .

According to multiple reports, Mirjana Puhar was killed Tuesday at her boyfriend’s home in Charlotte, N.C. She was 19.

Gossip site TMZ reported that Puhar’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Jonathan Alvarado, and a 21-year old victim, Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, were also killed.

According to multiple reports, police have arrested Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, 19, and charged him with three counts of first degree murder.

People magazine, citing police, reported Wednesday that Rangel has also been charged in connection with a murder that took place in Matthews, N.C., on Sunday.Puhar recently starred in the television series, during its 21st cycle, and was eliminated late last year, according to People.

The winner of that cycle, former NFL wide receiver and fashion model Keith Carlos, tweeted Wednesday, “I Love You @mirjanapuhar #RIP #ANTMCycle21,” along with a picture of him and Puhar.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ police believe the murders were drug related — and that the victims knew the killer.
