FORT WAYNE, Ind. — An Amber Alert issued after a 2-year-old girl was believed to have been abducted by her father was canceled Thursday at 5 p.m. after she was dropped off at a local Wendy’s, according to police.

The Fort Wayne Police Department said it canceled the alert after she was dropped off, in good health, at the Wendy’s at 7631 S. Town Crossing. The gold Buick involved with the child’s recovery did not match the vehicle that was part of the Amber Alert, police said, and they are looking to identify the person that dropped the child off.

The 2-year-old has since been reunited with her mother. Police said they have not talked to the father yet, but they are working to do so.
