CHICAGO — Chicago alderman Bob Fioretti is in the hospital with flu-like symptoms.
A spokesperson for Fioretti says the alderman and former mayoral candidate was hospitalized Tuesday Northwestern Memorial Hospital after complaining of flu-like symptoms and a fever of 102.
His spokesman released a statement saying, “Since Tuesday, he has undergone tests and blood work and has remained overnight for observation. He will remain at Northwestern for continued observation until he is released by his doctor and is expected to make a full recovery.
