A Seattle-area medical examiner has ruled that actress  Misty Upham died from blunt-force injuries to her head and torso.

It’s still not known how she was injured.

Upham was known for her roles in ‘Django Unchained’ and ‘August: Osage County.’

Her family and friends found her body in a ravine on October 16, nearly two weeks after her death.

They say she was mistreated by police in the past, and believe she fell to her death while running from police.

They don’t believe she committed suicide. Police say there’s no indication of foul play and believe the trauma was caused by a fall.
