Chicago Police have charged Roosevelt Shaffer, 72-years-old of 900 block of West 63rd Street, with one count of first degree murder.

Raymond Robinson, who had been stabbed in the right side of his chest, was pronounced dead at around 11 a.m. at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County after police were called about an hour earlier to the Bethel Terrace senior apartment complex, at 900 West 63rd Parkway, according to police.

Family members of a 69-year-old man who was killed in the Englewood neighborhood Friday, were struggling to get answers about how he died.  Police say the stabbing happened because of a verbal dispute the two men had possibly over a jacket and took place at the senior apartment complex, where Shaffer lived.
