5 hospitalized after apparent drug overdose in home on South Side

CHICAGO –  Police are investigating multiple cases of drug overdoses on the South Side.

Police responded to a home in the 3600 block of South Rhodes Avenue Wednesday.

When emergency crews arrived, they found five adult victims, three men and a 67-year-old woman, in need of medical attention.

It’s not clear if all five suffered drug overdoses.

They people remain hospitalized in fair to serious condition.
