INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police are investigating the apparent shooting deaths of four people whose bodies were found in an Indianapolis home.
Officer Christopher Wilburn said Tuesday that police arrived at the house about 9:45 a.m. after the homeowner arrived and discovered two men and two women dead from apparent gunshot wounds. He says the victims appear to have been shot "execution style," but didn't elaborate.
According to WXIN, police say there was forced entry into a side door of the home. The house was ransacked, everything was thrown around, and TVs were flipped.
It was not clear whether the victims were related. Additional details weren't immediately available.
The neighborhood where the shootings occurred has a high crime rate.
