LEWISTOWN, Ill. — Officials in Fulton County said four inmates have escaped. One escapee of the Fulton County Jail has been captured, the Fulton County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency announced.

Cody Villalobos, Jesse Davis, Zachary Hart and Eugene Roets escaped the Fulton County Jail in Lewistown Wednesday night.

Eugene Roets, 22, was captured in the Peoria area. The announcement was made on the department’s Facebook page at 4:30 p.m., and the other three suspects are still at large.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone in Lewistown and nearby communities to lock their homes and cars.

Anyone who sees the inmates is asked not to approach them and should instead call 911.
