CHICAGO — Three children and four adults were injured in a fiery multi-car crash in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood.
It happened at about 8 a.m. Tuesday at Pulaski and Milwaukee.
The driver of a Dodge Caravan was driving at a high speed on W. School St. when the van sped through a stop sign. Cars waiting at a light on Milwaukee and Pulaski didn’t see the Caravan coming. The van sent several vehicles crashing into each other, before it slammed into the window of a liquor store. Nine cars were involved.
Among the victims, all three children were transported to Lutheran General Hospital. Two are in critical condition and one is in fair condition.
One adult was transported in critical condition to Illinois Medical Masonic. The three other adults were transported in fair condition to Lutheran General Hospital.
