SUMAVA RESORTS, Ind. —An arrest has been made in connection with three people found dead inside a home in Newton County, Indiana.
Newton County sheriff officers have confirmed that with help from Indiana State Police, 24-year-old Sebastian Wedding of Cedar Lake, IN was taken into custody at 9 a.m. Monday. He has not yet been charged.
A coroner says three people found dead were victims of homicide.
Newton County Coroner Scott McCord said Monday morning that police found two men and one woman dead about 8 p.m. Sunday in the community of Sumava Resorts. He says all were victims of trauma and autopsies are scheduled Tuesday morning on the three victims.
The victims have been identified as 20-year-old Justin Babbs, 23-year-old Robert Thomas and 39-year-old Kimberly Sparks.
Police are investigating and have not yet released information on the motives and weapons.
Some neighbors said they suspect there was something illegal going on in the home.
