2 fatally shot in Joliet; suspect still at large

Joliet police searched Wednesday for suspects in a shooting that killed two men and wounded another.

Investigators say the victims were standing in the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Strong Ave. Tuesday night when they were ambushed by gunfire.

One of the men ran into a nearby home.  He was airlifted to Loyola Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his back.

The other two were pronounced dead at the hospital.

They've been identified as Keon Kelly, 30, of Lockport, and Tariq Purnell, 17.
