CHICAGO — Three people are being questioned after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed and seriously injured on the city's North Side.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Monday on the 1600 block of North Bissell Street in the Ranch Triangle neighborhood. Police said the 15-year-old was walking with a friend when two men got out of a silver Dodge Charger and chased them.
The teen was stabbed in the chest, arm and leg, police said,
According to the Chicago Tribune, he ran to the nearby North/Clybourn Red Line stop, where paramedics and police were notified.
The teen was transported in critical condition to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
Police said three people are being questioned.
No other injuries were reported. Area Central is investigating.
