A 14-year-old boy is shot and killed outside his Humboldt Park home late Friday night.

Chicago Police say the teen was sitting on his porch in the 24-hundred block of West Augusta Blvd.  at 11:50pm  and talking on the phone to his girlfriend when two male gunmen walked up and shot him several times.

The teen was shot in the chest and died at the scene. His name is not being released pending notification of relatives.    Relatives at the scene tell the Chicago Tribune that the victim would have turned 15 on Tuesday.

Several bullets shattered a window of a neighboring house.  No one else was injured.

Police have not made any arrests in the case.
