12-year-old boy shot on the West Side

CHICAGO — Chicago Police officers are looking for the gunman who shot a boy, 12, on the West Side early Sunday.
Police say the boy was riding a scooter near South 21st Street and Pulaski Road just after 12am, when someone walked up and fired several shots at him.
The boy was struck once in the back and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police do not think he was the intended target.
No one is in custody.
