ROCHELLE, Ill. — A restaurant in Rochelle, Illinois was destroyed in Thursday’s massive storms.
Twelve people were inside Grubsteakers when the tornado hit and tore it to pieces.
All of people are OK because they made it to the building’s storm cellar just before it came.
One survivor says he just pulled over to get away from a hailstorm, when the restaurant owner told him to get inside.
Ray Kramer told us they all stayed in the storm cellar for about two hours, before someone came and got them all out.
