Our colder than average temperatures will continue through the weekend.

Mostly cloudy skies will hang around for much the day today and a few sprinkles or flurries are possible this morning.

Chilly west, northwest winds between 10-20 mph will help keep temperatures down with highs only in the low to mid-40s.

Decreasing cloud cover tonight is expected to allow lows to fall into the 20s.

More sunshine is forecast for Friday, but we’ll stay chilly across Chicagoland.

Afternoon highs are expected to reach the upper 40s tomorrow, still about 10 degrees cooler than average.
