CHICAGO — It’s a phrase that many have been using for decades when texting became part of the mainstream.

But according to Gen Z, if you’re still using “LOL,” the joke is on you. That’s because the prefer another phrase to use when it comes to something they find quite funny.

This was featured on Tuesday’s “9@9” as the hosts discussed what Gen Z is using instead of LOL these days along with another group of topics.

That includes a story about a Baseball Hall of Famer’s love of beer, a rare baseball card, five-finger shoes, a trend with September babies, how to embrace unhappiness, and more.
