A thought occurred to Dallas-based photographer Tom Hussey: we often think of ourselves as younger than we really are.
That gave him an idea to build a set and photograph an 80-year-old man looking at his “younger self.” He included the picture in his advertising portfolio.
A few years later, an agency liked it so much, they built a campaign around it for an Alzheimer’s drug.
Hussey said location-scouting and casting were hugely important to evoke the emotions he was after.
