SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — WGN’s Marcus Leshock is getting an inside look at a luxury tree house in Schaumburg that you can rent for $195 per night.
The “romantic” tree house is fully equipped with a fire place, air conditioning, full-sized bed, cable TV and running water.
It’s available for rent through Airbnb.
The tree house belongs to Schaumburg resident Dan Alexander.
He says he built the tree house about seven years ago and it took just a couple of months to build.
Alexander had to make about $1000 of electrical upgrades to meet the city’s regulations.
