On tonight’s WGN News at Five, we’re talking to Robin Malpass and Pamella Capitanini, the co-founders of Plant Green Ideas. Their non-profit “strives to change the way people think about environmental issues.” This summer, they’re aiming to do that with more than a dozen giant heads constructed from sustainable materials. Each sponsored head doubles as a planter and features an eco-friendly message.

You can find the heads along Michigan Avenue between Randolph and Balbo. WGN-TV has sponsored one of the heads – you’ll find it at Navy Pier.

My video feature will be posted here after it airs. You can find more information on the website – PlantGreenIdeas.com.
