CHICAGO — Last week, a fisherman by the name of Wayne Nickerson caught a blue lobster off the coast of Massachusetts. It is an extremely rare variation with only one-in-two million chances of the crustacean obtaining the blue hue, thanks to genetic mutation.

WGN’s Marcus Leshock went to visit Shedd Aquarium’s Senior Curator, George Parsons, after being invited via Twitter to meet Shedd’s very own blue lobster who is yet to be named.
