The Chicago organization called Kidz Korna helps to minimize violence and abuse through media, community and music outreach.

They help at-risk children in Chicago by taking them off the streets and providing them with opportunities.

In the last 20 years, they've helped thousands of families in Englewood, Roseland and Auburn-Gresham.

Community activist Andrew Holmes and Delece Williams, founder of Kidz Korna joined us to talk about the program, homelessness in Chicago and the impact violence has had on their lives.
